I am Karen Robinow, Advancement Opportunities Coordinator at both CRHS & TFHS. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area with many adventures at my back. As much as I loved living there, I have yearned for the country life for as long as I can remember. I’ve had the opportunity to visit Idaho at least once a year for the past 30 years. My four Children and I were able to resettle here and have made Filer our home. I have three boys and one girl and between them I have five grandchildren who are my heart. I have worked in education for more than 20 years. My career stems from working as a bookkeeper tech for my youngest son’s elementary school in Dublin Ca, Business Tech at Dublin High School in the Activities Office, the principal’s secretary at Valley High School (at risk students), I did that for five years; that’s where I fell in love with at risk students. From there I moved to Twin Falls and Brady Dickinson hired me as his secretary when we opened CRHS. I was a Business manager at Hayward High School in Ca for four years, then returned to Twin Falls and worked at South Hills Middle School as their Registrar, from there I moved over to Magic Valley High School to work once again with at-risk students. Now I’m beginning a new adventure as the AOC for all schools with 7-12 grade students. My very favorite thing to do is hang out with all my kids and grandkids. I enjoy the outdoors and the solitude I find in our new home in Filer. I’m a bit of a crafter, but I have to be able to copy someone. I’m looking forward to my new adventure working in the Career Center, with the awesome counseling staff at all three middle schools and both high schools.
