  • Canyon Ridge is hosting a regional dance fundraiser on December 6th from 8-11 pm @ Radio Rondevoo. Cost is $10 or $8 with 2 cans of food. You must have a student ID to enter the dance.
  • Change 4 Change Assembly.  Students will sit with their advisory and attendance will be taken at that time.
  • Schedule for Traveling Students will not change.

  • Tonight is your last chance to see the Bruin High Players’ Dessert Theatre at Roper Auditorium. Tonight is the Auditorium’s choice night, so come see all the favorite pieces of past audiences. All tickets are $10 and the show begins at 7:30. Be prepared for a night of laughs and quite possibly the best dessert you’ve ever had.

  • There will be an information meeting for those interested in playing Basketball, Wednesday November 6th, after School in Mr. Harr’s Room. 
  • Mr. TFHS is November 14th @ 7pm @ the Roper.  Tickets are $5 @ the Door. 

Tuesday – November 5th

  • Sadie Hawkins Dance is this Saturday, November 9th from 8-11pm in Bruin Gym! TFHS FFA is sponsoring this dance and you can buy tickets in the Junction (or in Room S4) during lunch all week. Tickets are $10 for a single and $15 for a couple. These prices will increase by $5 if you wait and buy them at the door – so get them early! All grades may attend. The theme this year is “Old West” – Hope to see ya’ll there!
  • This week is HOSA week! During Lunch this week, HOSA will be putting on fun activities for the whole school.  Tuesday:Gurney races in small gym. Wednesday: Scavenger hunt all day. Thursday: CPR class in Showers room. Friday: Dress in any medical profession outfits (no maks), and blood bag cornhole in small gym.
  • Congratulations to Mattalyn Geddes who became a Cross Country 3-time State Champion this past weekend in Pocatello!

  • DECA is a student organization for EVERYONE!  There are over 50 different competitive events and areas of involvement for members/ Join today & begin to prepare for the International Career Development Conference in Nashville, TN in April 2020
  • For all seniors and juniors who are graduating this year – College App Day is TOMORROW!!! Please make sure to have your social security number in order to complete any Idaho Applications and as a source of payment for out of state applications to pay the application fee.  Prizes and give aways will be plentiful!!!

  • Staff & Students- just a reminder that District games are starting and Activity Cards and District badges will not be accepted at these events. You will need to pay for admission. This policy is the same for any State sporting event, as well.
  • Twin Falls High School wants to wish good luck to Courtney Kaiser, Helia Miller, Lacy Herzey, and Casie Mc Kechnie this weekend. They will be playing in a Lacrosse tournament in Boise.

  • Trio will be offering a FAFSA night, tonight, Tuesday, October 8th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the Twin Falls library. Students will need their social security numbers and at least one parent needs to be in attendance with their 2018 tax return.

  • Be sure to come out to the Lady Bruins Volleyball matches [TONIGHT] in Bruin Gym as we face Jerome HS. We will be doing a spotlight night where our Future Bruins Junior High teams will be there to cheer us on as well! Come support our Future and Current Bruin Nation! 6:00pm Jv and C teams, and then the Varsity will start at 7:30pm!
  • Friday is the Dual Credit Registration and Drop deadline – please take care of your Dual credit classes for Fall semester as soon as possible – See Mrs. Erickson in the Career Center in Room D1.
  • Want to learn dance techniques and choreography no matter what level you are? A Canyon Ridge High School student is hosting a Dance Camp on September 28th from 4-8pm at the Canyon Ridge Auditorium, for middle and high schoolers. If you’re interested or have questions, there are flyers in the office.

  • Be sure to come support Girls volleyball today in a double header against Burley & Minico. This is their annual block party and will have Kona Ice, a coffee truck and concession stands open throughout the entire event. Stay between the games to meet the team and hang out in the foyer of Baun and Aux gyms.

Monday – September 9th  

  • Early Release Monday – School releases @ 2:25
  • Senior photo day will be Tuesday, September 10th. Seniors you must get your photo taken even if you don’t plan on ordering prints. These photos are for the Yearbook. You will get your photo taken in the Roper foyer during your English class. Yearbook staff will be taking senior quote submissions during this time as well. Forms will be available for you to fill out while waiting for your photo.
  • There will be an FFA meeting Tuesday, September 10th after school in S4. This meeting is for any members or people interested in FFA. We would love to see you there.

  • Juniors! If you would like to take the PSAT and did not already purchase your test during registration, you need to pay $17 to the bookkeeper. The last day to order a test is September 13!

  • Utah State campus tour and Football game will be Saturday November 2nd. Utah State will be playing BYU. Seating is limited so stop by in the Career Center soon to sign up! Must have C’s in all classes.

Thursday – September 12th  

  • Marching Bruins will be holding a car wash here at the high school this Friday, September 13th. Stop by to get your car nice and shiny for a suggested donation of only $5. Teachers can contact any Marching Bruin or color guard member to have your car washed while you are working!
  • Bruin Robotics Open House September 12! All interested in joining the robotics team are welcome. Learn about the application process and about Bruin Robotics. Food and fun will be provided in Mrs. LaMarche’s room S3 @ 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Hope to see you all there!
