Applause to Lisa Blake for being the Certified Employee of the Month for September! She is the Pottery teacher at Canyon Ridge High School.
Lisa is originally from Burley, Idaho. She chose this career because of her high school art teacher. Lisa originally started teaching painting and drawing and did not like pottery. She took on the task when asked and now prefers it. Her best day on the job was when she got her first teaching job and realized that college worked! Her inspiration comes from the world around her and her favorite hobby is organizing and being creative. A word that best describes her is inspirational and she wants to be remembered for inspiring others to find their creative outlet. One thing people don’t know about her is that she does not have a cell phone. One of her pet peeves is riding in the car with angry drivers and the number one item on her bucket list is to learn Spanish.
Principal Note:
Lisa is an awesome person and teacher here at CRHS! Her classes are always full and students love her classes. Her students know that she cares about them and they always have great things to say about her. We are very fortunate to have her here with us!
