National Merit Semifinalist logo

Twin Falls High School is proud to announce that six of its students have been named National Merit Scholarship semi-finalists for 2024. The semi-finalists are among the top students in the country, recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.

The following students have earned the prestigious honor of being named semi-finalists:

  • Eve Andersen

  • Nolan Dickerson

  • Preston Dopp

  • William Hawkins

  • Dylan Sayers

  • Adam Wright

These students represent the highest level of academic performance, having scored among the top 1% of PSAT/NMSQT test-takers nationwide. Their dedication to excellence in education has positioned them as contenders for National Merit Scholarships, which will be awarded in the spring of 2024.

In addition to the semi-finalists, two other Twin Falls High School students received commendations for their exceptional academic performance. While they did not advance to the semi-finalist stage, their recognition is a testament to their hard work and dedication. The commended students are:

  • Emily Wright

Principal, Nancy Jones, expressed great pride in the students' accomplishments, stating, "These students have demonstrated remarkable academic ability and dedication to their studies. We are extremely proud of their achievements and are excited to see what the future holds for them."

The National Merit Scholarship Program is a highly competitive academic scholarship competition that recognizes students across the United States for their outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT. Semi-finalists represent less than 1% of all high school seniors and are eligible to compete for scholarships worth over $30 million.
