The Twin Falls High School Class of 1966 has once again invested in the success of current Bruins by providing grants to support student activities. This year’s contributions include $500 for Quiz Bowl, $400 for Band, and $500 for Choir, which helps ensure students remain engaged, connected, and able to pursue their passions at school.
The Class of 1966 has a long-standing commitment to giving back. Growing up in Twin Falls, they experienced a strong academic foundation, supportive teachers, and a vibrant school community that offered countless opportunities for involvement, from pep band and drill team to student government, journalism, and service clubs.
About the Memorial Grant Program
The Class of 1966 Memorial Grant Program was established in remembrance of the six classmates who passed away during their junior year, and in honor of the more than 120 classmates who are no longer with us. It reflects the belief that if those friends were here today, they would be among the strongest supporters of this effort.
Now in its 15th year, the program has provided more than $34,000 in grants to TFHS enrichment activities. The focus of the program is to strengthen opportunities that help students build:
Decision-making skills
Verbal communication skills
Personal character
Connections and friendships with peers
By investing in student activities, the Class of 1966 hopes to continue the tradition of a well-rounded and engaging high school experience, the same kind that shaped their own lives nearly 60 years ago.
